For teams of 10+, we also offer a 3-month pilot program including a free customization of the add-in with your corporate branding and a dedicated onboarding training session. The Free Forever plan gives access to a limited selection of features from the Premium plan, including a subset of the content library (templates, icons, maps and charts), all the Pictures and all Excel functions. It is available to all users permanently, with no time limit.

Both plans are very similar, the difference being on the services around the software:The Premium plan gives individual users and small teams access to the full feature set. Customizations of the Power-user Library, Themes and Styles are possible, but each user has to set this up themselves. Trainings are also included through mutualized sessions organized with pre-defined dates and a standard agenda.The Premium Entreprise plan is designed for organizations: Customizations are done centrally for all users.Admins can manage licenses through an admin portal.Trainings can be organized that are dedicated to the organization and reflecting their customizations.

By default, all plans are billed annually. Annual billing allows us to offer a significantly lower price than a monthly subscription would. While there is no monthly billing possible, organizations with 10+ users can request a custom billing plan: The payment cycle can be every 3 or 6 monthsPlans subscribed for more than 1 year are also possible, enabling a higher discountWe also have a usage-based billing model, where the organization gets a single consolidated invoice at the end of the year based on all users added and removed during the year.

Yes. All licenses include unlimited transfers. You can reinstall Power-user on a new machine or reassign a license to a different user at any time, at no additional cost.

Power-user currently runs on Windows only. It is built as a native Microsoft Office add-in (VSTO) which provides deep ribbon integration on Windows. Mac support is not available at this time.Mac machines can still run Windows with independent software like Parallels, and in that case Power-user can be installed on the Mac. You can also request here to be informed when a MacOS version will be available.

Power-user is compatible with all desktop versions of Microsoft Office on PC, including Office 2010, 2013, 2016, 2019, 2021, 2024, and Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365). It works with both volume-licensed and subscription versions.

No. Individual users - including in corporate environments - can install Power-user without administrator rights.

Yes. Power-user offers a free academic version for students and teachers, with access to a curated set of features. It is available on request through the Academic version page on our website.

We accept all major credit cards as well as bank transfers.

Trials: Once a trial expires, Power-user simply deactivates on the computer it had been installed.Paid subscriptions: Power-user renews automatically at the end of the annual period. You will receive a renewal notice by email in advance and can cancel at anytime via your subscription portal. If you choose not to renew, your access to Premium features will revert to the Free Forever plan at the end of the billing period.
